Born in Mexico in 1962, Brontis Jodorowsky starred in his first movie at the age of just seven. El Topo directed by his father Alejandro Jodorowsky. After El Topo, The Holy Mountain (1963) and Pubertinajes (1971) by Pablo Leder, Brontis won The "Diosa de Plata" Prize for best child actor in Mexico for El muro del silencio (1974).
Living in France since 1979, Brontis studied under Riszard Ciezlak (the iconic actor of Theater Laboratory of Wroclaw) and Ariane Mnouchkine, and worked as an actor for the Théâtre du Soleil performing works such as The miraculous night and Perjury City by Hélène Cixous, The Atrides, Euripides and Aeschylus and Le Tartuffe, by Molière.
